Following her participation in the Cardiff Singer of the World in 2017, the highly talented young Uzbekistan soprano Barno Ismatullaeva won high praise for her impressive debut in Austria in 2018 as Amelia in Verdi's Simone Boccanegra at the Tiroler Landestheater in Innsbruck. She made her Germany debut in the title-role of Puccini’s Madama Butterfly at the Staatstheater Nürnberg in March 2019.  Following these performances she will appear at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein Duisburg and at the State Opera Hannover. 

The young soprano was born in Andijan, Uzbekistan. Immediately after completing her studies at the Tashkent College of Music she was contracted by the local opera house. Subsequently she was engaged  by the Nemirovich-Danchenko-Theatre in Moscow.
She is the winner of numerous competitions in Uzbekistan, as well as the „Competizione dell'Opera" 2014 in Tashkent.

Nach ihrer Teilnahme am „Cardiff Singer of the World“ Gesangswettbewerb im Sommer 2017 feierte die aufstrebende junge usbekische Sopranistin Barno Ismatullaeva 2018 als Amelia in Verdis Simone Boccanegra am Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck ihr beeindruckendes Debüt in Österreich. 

In Deutschland hat sie als Cio-Cio-San in Puccinis Madama Butterfly am Staatstheater Nürnberg debütiert. Es folgen Auftritte an der Deutschen Oper am Rhein Duisburg und an der Staatsoper Hannover.

Die junge usbekische Sopranistin wurde in Andijan, Usbekistan geboren. Unmittelbar nach Beendigung ihres Studiums an der Musikhochschule Tashkent wurde sie am dortigen Opernhaus engagiert. Anschließend erfolgte ein Engagement am Nemirovich-Danchenko Theater in Moskau. Sie ist Gewinnerin von zahlreichen Wettbewerben in Usbekistan, wie auch der „Competizione dell’Opera“ 2014 in Tashkent.
